ES Membership Requirements
Membership Requirements:Subject to the provisions of the Constitution and Bylaws, any person, who upon receipt of his or her membership application meets the following qualifications, may become a member of the Entrepreneur Society:
- Must be currently enrolled as a student
Active Status Requirements:In order to gain active member status in the Entrepreneur Society, as well as benefit from all that the organization has to offer, we have established a point system. For every activity you attend, you will receive one point (unless otherwise noted). You must earn a total of 8 points by the end of the semester in order to achieve active status recognition. These points can be earned as follows:
- Attend any combination of eight classroom meetings or social events.
- Bring and speak about a current event involving entrepreneurs at a bi-weekly meeting
- Attend one community service event.
- Attend one fund-raising event.
- Attend one professional networking event.
- Compete in the Lavin VentureStart Competition (4 points)
- Members must attend officer election meeting.
- Members must sign up for the SAS mass email list(Contact VP of Communication for more info).
